Bangladesh officially the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, is a country in South Asia marked by lush greenery and many waterways. It shares land borders with India to the west and Myanmar to the east.

Dhaka is its capital and largest city, and is also the economic, political and the cultural center of Bangladesh, followed by Chittagong, which has the country’s largest port. Dhaka is located in central Bangladesh at 23042’N, 90022E, on the eastern banks of the Buriganga River. Official language of Bangladesh is Bengali and currency is Bangladeshi taka.

Climate: Dhaka has a tropical wet and dry climate. The city has a distinct monsoonal season, with an annual average temperature of 250C (770F) and monthly means varying between 180C (640F) in January and 290C (840F) in August.

Shaheed M. Monsur Ali Medical college, Siraganj

The Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College is a private medical college in Uttara Model Town, Uttara Dhaka, in the capital of Bangladesh. It is one of the best college in Bangladesh.

Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College was established as the Ummah Medical Collage was established as the Ummah Medical College in 1994-95 in Mirpur, Dhaka.

The college was approved by the government of Bangladesh. It is affiliated with Dhaka University, and enjoys the recognition of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO). The college also has the recognition of postgraduate training in various subjects in the college hospital by the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS).
